My name is James and I am your typical dad. Soft around the middle, in my 40's with 2 kids (12 and 8 years old). Since I turned 40, I've been trying to find fun ways to get back into shape. I want to be an inspiration to people by showing them that no matter how overweight or out of shape you are, a fitter and funner life is just around the corner and within reach.

In my adventures I've come to love the OCR (Obstacle Course Race) scene. I started running OCRs in November 2017 with a brand called Terrain Race, have done Warrior Dash, Savage Race, Spartan Race, along with smaller/local mud runs like Seamark and Swamp Battle (personal favorite). Planning on getting Tough Mudder and Rugged Maniac done soon.
